In mood for quick spicy snack? Chili balls Recipe is your answer. Easy to make and yum to taste, it is taste of heaven for chili lovers. Serve it with cold coleslaw, white sauce or regular ketchup, you will love it. For many of busy moms, this makes our lives even more hectic. As if our plates were not already full with taking care of kids and a husband, running a house and working. Enough talk, so lets quickly make it and enjoy it 🙂

Ingredients for Chili Balls Recipe :

  • Bread slices -4
  • Chopped Red bell pepper -2 tbsp
  • Chopped Green bell pepper -2 tbsp
  • Grated Mozzarella Cheese -4 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies – 1 tsp
  • Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes – 1 tsp
  • Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Easy to cook Method:-

  • In a bowl take green chillies, green and red bell peppers.
  • Heat oil in a pan,add chopped green chillies ,red and green peppers and saute for a minute.
  • Now add the oregano and chilli flakes in it and let it cool down a bit.
  • In a bowl, add the bread crumbs, grated cheese, corn flour ,cooked pepper mixture ,salt and mix well.
  • Make small round balls of the mixture. If the mixture is a bit too dry, sprinkle few drops of water or milk to help in binding.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the mixture balls and fry on medium heat till golden brown.
  • Drain on a tissue paper and serve hot.

Note:-

Process to make bread crumbs-

  • Roughly tear fresh bread slices.
  • Process in a food processor until coarse crumbs form.
  • Store in an air tight container and keep in dry place.
