Eggless Pineapple Sponge Cake Recipe: Whether its a birthday or special Anniversary when you want to prepare a special dessert for your loved ones instead of just buying it from store. This is one of the best recipe, easy to make and one you can enjoy with whole family. Now it can be made with various ingredients and flavors. But today we are going to start with basic, Pineapple Sponge cake. It is an eggless variant, so anbody who doesn’t eat egg or egg products, can enjoy it without any issue. So lets start with ingredients for ths delicious cake and then following to it we will discuss the method to prepare.

Ingredients For Eggless Pineapple Sponge Cake :

  • 1/2 tin condensed milk or milk-maid
  • 100 ml soda water
  • 60 gm unsalted butter on room temperature
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 125 gm plain flour/maida
  • 2/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp pineapple essence
  • Baking tin

Method To Make Sponge Cake :-

  • Sift flour with baking sofa and baking powder and keep aside.
  • Mix sugar and butter and beat well. Now in the same mixture add condensed milk and beat again.
  • Now add soda water and pineapple essence and mix well.
  • Add the flour gradually and beat it for 5 mins or till the mixture is smooth and light.
  • Bake it in greased and dusted tin for about 30 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius or till the knife comes out clean.
  • Once the cake is baked, let it rest for about 15 mins and then serve.


  1. In case you want to make vanilla sponge cake, follow the same steps and use vanilla essence instead of pineapple essence.
  2. In case you want to make chocolate sponge cake, remove 3 tbsp flour from the measure amount and add 3 tbsp coco powder to it. Then sift flour, coco powder, baking powder and baking soda together. Rest of the recipe is the same as given above.
